Visitors like Vietnam because of the delicious food

According to Visa's survey results, many international tourists to Vietnam expressed that the most attractive thing for them is to experience the unique culture and enjoy diverse cuisine.

The Visa’s survey on the trend of international tourist was conducted on 11 620 international visitors in 23 countries in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. They are citizens from 18 years old, having traveled overseas for 2 years and intending to travel overseas in the next 2 years, including the Vietnam market. 69% of visitors to Vietnam said that they were willing to pay more to enjoy the varied cuisine; 65% of visitors are willing to pay more to enjoy the tour, 62% of tourists are willing to pay more to experience many different cultures and for resort services.

Visa noted that cultural experiences and diverse cuisine are the key factors to attract tourists, but in the future, customers will find low-cost places. The impact of the global economic downturn in recent years has made tourists more cautious in choosing the travel plans. On the choice of accommodation establishments, the general trend of tourists is 3-4 star hotels, but in the future want to stay at cheaper and free accommodation. In the context of international political instability, the political stability of Vietnam is also an important factor affecting the decision to select the destination of tourists.

Therefore, the report emphasized, Vietnam tourism can offer discounts and incentives program to attract tourists to Vietnam.
