Clever mega-restaurant with wide selection

This place is big! It can probably serve several thousand diners a day. The menu offers dishes from North, Central and South VN. Although it looks like a fancy Singapore hawker center with cooking stations arrayed around a central dining area you place your order from the extensive menu with the waitress instead of going around to each stall.

Both times I have gone there the place has been packed. Not a place for an intimate dinner - it's noisy and you are sitting elbow to elbow with your fellow diners. There is a good mix of locals and tourists.

Considering the size of this place and the complexity of the menu the service has been quite good - prompt & friendly with no mistakes in the order or the bill. The food prep areas are very clean and the food is prepared authentically and presented attractively. I do wish it was easier to watch all the different dishes being prepared in their open display kitchens - it's so crowed it wouldn't be too easy to walk around and gawk.

This would be a good place to go when you want Vietnamese (I haven't seen any Western on the menu) but you can't decide exactly what it is you want - there are so many choices. Also a fun place to take your out of town and overseas guests.
