OK Food, but Overpriced
We had a couple of issues here. The first is that the Taiwanese food came out within a few minutes of ordering, though my Indian food took at least another 20 minutes to appear. Since we had hoped to actually eat together, we ended up having one dish at room temperature. The serving staff seemed quite disorganized, too - we watched as several dishes came out with the servers, who seemed to have no idea what table they belonged to. Now, in defense, this was during Tet and most places were closed, and I suspect that the "A-Team" might have not been working on this day. Regardless, training the staff on how to find the proper table would be a nice touch. The biggest shocker was when we got the bill. We knew that they were adding on 10% due to Tet, but when the check came, we saw that every single item was charged at 89,000 dong (even the coke!). We called the waiter over, and he apologized, but then we had to wait about 10 minutes while the cashier figured out how to void the sale and charge us properly (which they did on the second attempt).
So, this place is very convenient if you're a tourist, and they are obviously geared towards serving tourists and I felt like a tourist eating here (I'm not - I live in Hanoi). The food was OK, the service sucked but that might have been due to the time of year we chose to eat here - and to their credit, at least they were open, unlike 90% of the restaurants in town this week. In any case, the food was overpriced but was prepared well and it was tasty enough.
