The Cao Dai Temple at the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City is a good 4-hour drive from the city center on a 30-40 kph.

Best to visit this place a little before 12 noon so that you can see and experience the noon prayers.

Caodaism is represented by the left eye and is a religion that unifies Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity.

The temple is awe-inspiring with its intricate designs. Tourists may enter the temple but can only stay at the sides leaving the middle for the religious devout for prayers.

Tourists may not bring their footwear inside and there's a separate entrance for women and men.
